How long should a resume be?
Common advice is one page for students and recent graduates and up to two pages for experienced professionals. Academic CVs and some government roles can be longer, so follow the employer's instructions if they give any.
How are pages estimated?
The tool assumes roughly 400 to 500 words per page. Your real page count depends on your layout, font size and spacing, so treat it as an estimate.
What is the Flesch reading ease score?
It is a readability formula based on sentence length and syllables per word. Scores run from 0 to 100, and higher scores are easier to read.
Is my resume uploaded anywhere?
No. The text is checked in your browser and is not stored or sent anywhere.
