What is the break even formula?
Break even units equal fixed costs divided by the contribution per unit, which is the selling price minus the variable cost per unit.
Why does it say there is no break even point?
If your price is the same as or lower than the variable cost of each unit, every sale loses money or makes nothing, so you can never cover your fixed costs. Raise the price or lower the cost per unit.
