How is GPA calculated?

Multiply each course's grade point by its units, add those results together, and divide by the total units. For example, an A (5) in a 3 unit course gives 15 quality points.

GPA covers one semester. CGPA, the cumulative grade point average, covers every semester so far, weighted by the units in each.
